An ecosystem is a community of living organisms (plants, animals, microorganisms) interacting with the non-living environment (air, water, soil, sunlight) in a particular area. Example Forest ecosystem : Trees, animals, insects, soil, water, air Pond ecosystem : Fish, algae, insects, water, sunlight 2.
